Podiatry

Podiatry Matters is a podiatry clinic which covers all facets of podiatry as well as a strong focus in the diagnosis and management of biomechanically related lower limb injuries. This may apply to the athlete, the young developing child or the general public at large.

The Podiatrist Christopher Walker has extensive experience in sports podiatry graduating in Adelaide and is a fellow of the Australian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.

Treatment regimes may include stretching and strengthening muscles, foot mobilisation or the fabricated of orthoses (foot inserts) to improve lower limb function.

Custom made orthoses are fabricated onsite in the laboratory after an extensive biomechanical examination of the patient to determine the most appropriate style of device which is required.

Podiatry Matters looks after the Glenelg Football Club and the Adelaide 36ers and has consulted with the Australian Cricket team when playing in Adelaide.
